I know when I was a teenager, I thought my parents were stupid, know-nothing hicks. I was more sophisticated, I thought. But with age comes wisdom, of course, and now I can look back and appreciate what they were trying to teach me. Kids today feel invincible, self-assured and know it all. Did we teach them that? Or is it just history repeating itself??
